The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Dec. 25-31. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 5:27 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 25, Tyler Jones, 31, of Overgaard was arrested for failure to comply with a court order after deputies made contact with Jones in the Heber area. At 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, Benjamin Sharpe, 18, of Santa Fe, N.M., was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 277 at Tonto Drive in the Heber area.
