The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Dec. 10-16. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 5:14 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, Cody Hall, 19, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Park Street in Heber. At 5:44 p.m. on Sunday, Jorge Alvarez Morales, 31, of Phoenix, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on the 1900 block of State Route 260 in Heber. At 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, Alex Connor, 29, of Heber, was arrested on a warrant after deputies made contact with Connor in the Heber area. Connor was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 6:41 p.m. on Saturday, Jeanette Cornell, 60, of Overgaard, was arrested for failure to appear after deputies made contact with Cornell in the Overgaard area. Cornell was booked into the county jail.
