The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Dec. 11-17. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 11:26 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, Roman Dewys, 20, of Pinetop was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 308. At 9:44 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, Jessica Brown, 30, of Heber was arrested for assault/domestic violence after deputies responded to the 2300 block of Quarter Horse Trail in Overgaard for reports of assault. Brown was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 1:21 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, Rory Noonan, 39, of Lake Villa was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 308.
