It’s official! The summer season begins this week and life is good. Who can complain with the scent of barbecue wafting through the air and cold drinks in the fridge? If you’re looking for summer fun you won’t have to go too far. For those looking for some outdoor recreation, Clear Creek is waiting for you. Looking to get your golf game into full swing, check out Hidden Cove Golf Course. There’s music at the park in Snowflake, and cultural dances in Holbrook and Winslow. All communities have pools for swimming, splash pads, programs at the library, community events and the great outdoors to explore. Get to know your neighbors with a block party, or host a water balloon fight at the park. See what clean-up projects your community is working on and volunteer. Make the most of the season and take part in what your community has to offer. Make new friends and enjoy the company of old ones because, after all, this summer will only be as good as we make it.
