Snowflake’s volleyball team pushed their regular season record to 10-1 with two more wins last week. The fifth ranked Lobos took care of region foe Winslow on Tuesday night in three straight games. The 19th ranked Bulldogs were no match for the top five Lobos. Snowflake dominated the first game 25-7, took game two 25-14, then closed out the match winning game three 25-9.
Facing Alchesay at Canyon Day School on Wednesday, Snowflake again cruised through in three straight games. They took the first game 25-10, the second 25-18, and closed out the match controlling game three 25-6.
Snowflake will host Show Low on Tuesday, and travel to Blue Ridge on Thursday. Then they will step out of region play when they host Valley Christian on Friday. The Trojans are the top ranked team in 3A and will give Snowflake a good idea where they stand in what could be a semi-final preview for both teams. Valley Christian is unbeaten in regular season play.
