Holbrook dropped both volleyball matches played last week, as they look towards the end of the season, which will come with two final games this week.
Hosting Blue Ridge on Tuesday last week, the Lady Roadrunners had no answer for the Yellowjackets’ power at the net. Blue Ridge won in three sets: 25-15, 25-16 and 25-15.
Playing at Chinle on Thursday evening, Holbrook struggled in the first two sets, losing 25-11 and 25-12, before playing a little better in the third set with a 25-21 loss.
This week, they have two matches left. They will play at Northland Prep in Flagstaff on Tuesday night, then will host third ranked Snowflake on Wednesday in what will be Holbrook’s final game of the season. Wednesday will also be senior night for the volleyball team.
Holbrook enters the final week with a regular-season mark of 1-15.
