For the past two years, Wings of Faith has been serving individuals in need both locally and on the reservation. On May 9, the organization hosted a luncheon at its hangar warehouse at the Holbrook Municipal Airport, where volunteers distributed approximately 35,000 lbs. of supplies, including food, medicine, books and Bibles, to groups who serve those in need.
This organization partners with Giving Children Hope and Operation 29:11 to provide these much needed supplies throughout the region.
Jim Yost of Wings of Faith noted as an example, the donation of 80 chairs to Catholic Charities in Holbrook as one of many contributions to the communities in the area. The donations for this endeavor come from many sources throughout the country.
Approximately 100 people were in attendance at the luncheon and delivered those supplies to those in need.
