Holbrook High School senior Joshua Romo was the winner of an $8,000 Arizona Milk Producers scholarship to be used for his college education. Joshua created a video for the competition where he dressed as “milk” and he ran for president in a debate against “soda.”

The check was presented to Joshua on Jan. 1 at the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix where he also had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the event, meet a number of people and was even offered an internship after graduation. Joshua has plans to attend Arizona State University to study sports business.

Joshua is the son of Robert Romo of Holbrook and Nikki Wolter of Phoenix.
