A Turkey Bowl & Turkey Bags Festival will be held this Saturday, Nov. 11, at Hunt Park in Holbrook. The day will include a flag football tournament during the day and a cornhole tournament in the evening. In addition, there will be plenty of events throughout the day including a pie eating contest, with the opportunity to throw a pie at a city official, carnival games and a cake walk for the kids. There will also be food trucks and a bonfire to end the night. The time for events will be available in next week’s edition. All proceeds will go towards Holbrook youth football.
