If you didn’t quite get your fill at the Winslow Christmas Parade, don’t worry—there’s plenty more holiday cheer to come! This Friday, Joseph City will be hosting its own Christmas festivities, and I’m especially excited because I picked up some fantastic locally made gifts at the Mother Road Farmers Market last weekend and two of my favorite vendors will be in Joseph City. So, I’m looking forward to grabbing a few more treasures. Then, as we move into next week, Holbrook will light up the season with its Festival of Trees and Light Parade.

We’re truly fortunate to experience the magic of these events, all thanks to the tireless efforts of local volunteers. I’m lucky to know many of these folks, and I’ve never seen them without a smile or fresh ideas to make each year even better than the last. For them, the real reward is seeing families gather, friends reconnect after time apart, and the pure joy on kids’ faces when they spot Santa. The spirit of the season comes alive through their hard work.

I hope to see you out enjoying the festivities, and hope that the joy you experience inspires you to share that magic throughout the season.
