The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a shooting that occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Feb 29, near Garibaldi Road, which is located east of Snowflake. The investigative lead is Gabriel Barnes, 40, a white male with red hair, full beard, blue eyes and is 6’01”, 150 lbs, with multiple tattoos. Barnes who was last seen wearing camouflage attire and is considered armed was last seen walking south toward Concho Highway this morning. If you see this individual do NOT attempt to detain him. Update Gabriel Barnes was arrested without incident in Snowflake earlier today. Details regarding this incident will be in the Friday, March 4, edition of The Tribune-News.
