Susie Lewis Gloria “Susie” Lewis, 83, our sweet mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and wife to Don Leon Lewis, passed away peacefully at 3 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2022. Susie was born to Lloyd and Iola Johnson in McNary on Oct. 17, 1939. A viewing will be held from 2-2:45 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Centennial Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 9th S. 2nd W. in Snowflake. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. at the same location. Interment will follow at the R.V. “Mike” Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. Susie is survived by her husband, Donnie, of Snowflake; children, Rick (Kelly) of Gilbert, Leslie (Rob) of St. Johns, Stephanie of Snowflake; 12 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and two remaining siblings, Ted and Larry. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Jackie, Pokey, Claudette, and Doc. Susie spent the last several years in a care facility and our father visited her every day that he could. He loves her so. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
