Students in Park Elementary School’s second grade in Holbrook were hard at work last week preparing their garden for planting in the spring. The school has implemented garden growing into their curriculum in order to introduce new and healthy foods to the kids and teach them the value of growing their own. The program is facilitated through the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.
