The Snowflake Town Council approved the town’s $7,661,138 final budget for 2011-12 following a public hearing Aug. 9. Members of the public offered no comment on the budget.

The budget is down from the $7,802,413 fiscal year 2010-11 budget.

Finance Director Brian Richards noted that there were no changes from the tentative budget previously approved and that the budget was published as required by law.

“We have gone over this a lot, so we know what’s here,” said Mayor Kelly Willis. He asked council members for any comments or questions, but there were none.

The council then unanimously passed Resolution 11-560, giving its stamp of approval to the final budget.
