The Snowflake FFA has been very busy this summer competing, learning and serving the community and are now gearing up for a very exciting school year. The group attended the State FFA Leadership Conference in June at the University of Arizona in Tucson and competed in Conduct of Meetings. This was a team of first year members and they had to use their parliamentary procedure skills to debate a motion. Shayley Paz also competed in Extemporaneous Speaking. Elexis White and Alyse Sanchez put together the chapter display and Chapter Scrapbook. All of the members had a great time attending leadership sessions, meeting other FFA members from around the state and enjoying their stay at Westin La Paloma. This was a treat for everyone who attended and was well worth all of the work they put into the past year.
