An accident that occurred on US 180 approximately eight miles east of Holbrook has left one person dead.
According to the Department of Public Safety, at approximately 7:55 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, Terrillyn Kate Aguilar, 44, of Show Low was driving a truck west on the highway when she apparently veered to the south, attempted to correct the direction of travel and overcorrected two times before the vehicle rolled. Aguilar was unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The eastbound traffic lane was closed until 11:05 a.m. to allow for completion of the investigation.
