Sheriff’s Areas One and Two report The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Areas 1 and 2 during the period of Nov. 28 – Dec. 4. Areas 1 and 2 include Joseph City, Woodruff, Sun Valley, Goodwater, Adamana, unincorporated areas of Winslow and Holbrook, and parts of the Navajo and Hopi reservations that are located within the boundaries of Navajo County. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. On Wednesday, Dec. 1, Joel Dean Swedberg, 56, of Holbrook was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on McLaws Road at Hunsaker Road in Holbrook. On Saturday, Dec. 4, Carmen John Carangi, 30, of Philadelphia, Penn., was arrested for DUI and DUI/drugs following a traffic stop on North 12th Avenue and Hopi Drive in Holbrook. On Saturday, Adrian Billie, 29, of Ganado was arrested for aggravated DUI and Thomas Tommy Billie, 32, of Winslow was arrested on two warrants following a traffic stop at the Hopi Travel Plaza in Holbrook. Adrian Billie was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
