The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Areas 1 and 2 during the period of Dec. 26 – Jan. 1. Areas 1 and 2 include Joseph City, Woodruff, Sun Valley, Goodwater, Adamana, unincorporated areas of Winslow and Holbrook, and parts of the Navajo and Hopi reservations that are located within the boundaries of Navajo County. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. On Wednesday, Dec. 29, Bradley Jay Hulsey, 49, of Holbrook was arrested for misconduct involving a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to the Navajo County Superior Court in Holbrook for a report of a male subject who entered the courthouse with a concealed weapon. Hulsey was found to be in possession of a concealed weapon, and also being a prohibited possessor. Hulsey was booked into Navajo County Jail. On Friday, Dec. 31, Danny McDaniel, 49, of Sun Valley was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence after deputies responded to the 7800 block of Rapture Road in Sun Valley for a disorderly call. He was booked into the county jail.
