The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Nov. 30 – Dec. 6. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 1:19 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, Raul Palacio, 43, of Phoenix, was arrested for failure to comply with a court order following a traffic stop on State Route 277 at Mogollon Drive in Heber. Palacio was booked into the county jail.
At 10:25 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, Richard Laughter, 59, of Gallup, was arrested for driving on a suspended/revoked/canceled license following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 304.5 in Heber. Laughter was booked into the county jail.
