The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of May 21 – June 3. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 1:52 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, Hugh Sloan, 50, of Navajo County was arrested for failure to comply with a court order. He was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 8:53 p.m. on Monday, June 19, Melissa Kenchiova, 55, of Lakeside was arrested for possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. She was booked into the county jail. She was booked into the county jail. At 7:49 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, Charles Alexander, 67, of Overgaard was arrested for interfering with judicial proceedings, and threatening and intimidating. He was booked into the county jail.
