Romeo and Juliet

At 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, the Tony-Award winning Utah Shakespeare Festival is coming to the BG Bennett Auditorium in Joseph City to present the tragic tale of star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet. The performing troupe is comprised of actors from all over the world. Not only are they traveling to put on a show, the actors will be working with local high school students before the play in several workshops. The students will learn the ins and outs of being a professional touring actor, as well as key concepts to bridge the gap between understanding Shakespeare and the modern world. Tickets start at only $7 and are available at josephcityarts.org. For student groups or large groups, email Andy Foree at andrewf@jcusd.org.
