Rob was born April 10, 1978, in Sacramento, Calif.
He graduated from Snowflake High School in 1996 and was a graduate of the BYU Marriott School of Business.
Rob served an LDS mission to the Philippines and loved the Filipino people.
He was a loving and devoted father who enjoyed reading, camping, politics and occasions spent with his family. Rob also excelled in technology and loved working on cars. Any project he started, he completed to perfection.
Survivors include his children, Maggie, Henry, Finn and Jude; his parents, Roger and Cathie McDowell; his siblings, Drew (Terri), Tim (Kimberlee), Katie (Travis Melser), David (Jessica), Sam and James; his grandparents, Robert and Janet Mathie; loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his dear Annabel Navarro.
