Cathie McDowell (left) has led the way in the restoration of the Snowflake Academy Building. Thursday Night in the Park was held at the Academy Building last week, where everyone had a chance to tour the first floor and see what has been accomplished. McDowell shows Tricia Reidhead (right) the old cabinet they would like to have restored as an Eagle project. You can see the foundation of the building and the newly painted walls. Last year the Snowflake Academy Foundation completed the electrical room, took out and replaced all asbestos pipes, and put the heating and cooling system on the first floor. Bathrooms were remodeled, but retained the old look.
