Peter Benedict Wiseman passed away on Feb. 8, 2018, in Snowflake. Peter was born to Edward Pettry and Annie Lush Wiseman on February 19, 1936, in Bell Island, Newfoundland, Canada. He was the third child of 13 children. He, his father Edward and his brothers were miners. Peter married Janet in Bell Island, Newfoundland, Canada and they had one son. They moved to Massachusetts to continue his mining career and later they divorced. Peter became a naturalized citizen of the United States, on June 20, 1979, in Massachusetts. Later Peter married Gloria Jeanne St Francis in New Hampshire. They were living in Snowflake at the time of Gloria’s passing in 2015. He was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2016 and remained active until his death. He was also a member of the Silver Creek Senior Center of Snowflake. He is survived by his son Ricky Wiseman, two brothers and three sisters. He will be remembered by his friends as a gentle loving man. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
