By Linda Kor With the new requirements of social distancing, all large gatherings and celebrations have been postponed or cancelled, including Joseph City’s 144th Annual Founder’s Day celebration. To ensure that there is still a recognition for this important event, resident Brantley Baird will open his Pioneer Museum on Main Street for visitors to come and enjoy. This outdoor museum features an impressive collection of farm implements, wagons, tools and furnishings that the pioneers to this region used to survive in this challenging environment over 100 years ago. The museum will be open beginning at 8 a.m. for those who would like to tour at their leisure with a tour available beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28. The museum will remain open throughout the day for people to enjoy. There is no cost to visit the museum.
