Merlinda Bazan entered into rest after a long battle of illness on Oct. 19, 2018, in Goodyear. Merlinda was born to Sisto and Lorraine Bazan on Jan. 2, 1972. Merlinda enjoyed reading, baking and spending time with her family. Merlinda’s love for her four children is one that she cherished with all her heart always. Merlinda is survived by two daughters and two sons; her four sisters, Gloria (Frank) Jones of Taylor, Juanita (Robert) Jasso of Show Low, Maggie Bazan of Show Low and Hope (Audie) Harris of Show Low; and many nephews and nieces who loved her dearly. Merlinda was preceded in death by her loving mother and father, and her niece, Jessica McGown. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
