Marvin G. Downs passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, in Snowflake. Funeral services were held Feb. 21 at the Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor. Interment was at the Snowflake Cemetery.
He was born to Walter R. Downs and Mabel Christine Klaechter on Oct. 11, 1937.
Survivors include his wife, Winona Downs; four daughters, Ginger Musser, Jeri McDermott, Dana Duncan and Ella Owens; three sons, Richard Herbert, Michael Herbert and Gary Trickett; 29 grandchildren; and lots of great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter R. Downs and Mabel Christine Klaechter, Wanda Downs; a son, Marvin Jr.; and two brothers.
Marvin was a very loved man by his family and friends. He will be sorely missed.
