Snowflake played just once last week suffering a 44-52 home-court loss to the defending 3A state champs and still highly talented Lady Falcons from Alchesay. Snowflake had the height advantage, but the Falcons move the ball extremely well and have a really strong point guard who was able to lead them to the eight-point win.
Snowflake opened their regular season with this loss. They are now 2-3 on the season after going 2-2 in the Inferno Tournament held in Tucson last week.
This week they will play at Safford on Tuesday. Their schedule is sparse in the early weeks due to the football team continuing to play. Following Tuesday’s game, the Lady Lobos won’t be in action again until Dec. 15 when they play at Round Valley. On the 16th and 17th, they will be in action at the Lady Longhorn Winter Stamped. They are scheduled for three games on the 16th vs San Tan Foothills, Mohave, and Mingus Union.
