Snowflake’s Lady Lobos returned from the break on Friday with a 57-38 win over a pretty good Pusch Ridge team. The Lions entered this game with just three losses on the season, but they were no match for 14-2 Snowflake.
The Lobos earned their 10th straight win, dating back to Dec. 6, with the 19-point victory. The Ladies outscored the visitors 14-6 in the first, then again by 2 in the second to lead 24-14 at the half. Snowflake slowly extended their lead in each the third and fourth quarters to comfortably win the game.
Snowflake is now 14-2 overall and they are 5-1 in regular-season games. Their only regular season loss has been to unbeaten Chinle.
This week will be busy with three games. Tuesday they host Alchesay, Thursday is a long trip to Safford, then Friday night they will host Holbrook. Next Tuesday they play at Winslow.
