Josephine C. Barnard, 71, passed away in the comfort of her home in Snowflake on July 7, 2018. She was born on April 5, 1947, in Wheaton, Minn., to her parents, Harriet and Rudolph Gulbrandson. The public visitation and friends calling will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 13, at Owens Livingston Mortuary Heritage Chapel, located at 84 E. 19 S., in Snowflake. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Josephine had a full life. She was a nurse in the Navy and a veteran of the Vietnam War. She lived in Arizona for over 40 years and absolutely loved it! She was a member of the Lutheran Church. Josephine was well liked by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her life partner of 34 years, Gwenda Saylors; son, Kenn Wilson; brothers, Dale Gulbrandson and Kent Gulbrandson; and sister, Pat Ott; as well as numerous family and friends. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
