Joseph S. Griffo, 85, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013, in Snowflake. Services were held May 10. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Navy. Joseph was a retired nuclear engineer who always saw the best in everyone. Survivors include his wife, Zora Griffo; two sons, Gordon Griffo and Mark Griffo; and three granddaughters. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
