Johnny Breedlove Johnny Cris Breedlove, 80, passed to the other side, Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Centennial Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 175 West 9th S. St. in Snowflake, where the visitation will begin one hour prior. Johnny was born on a Tuesday, Aug. 26, 1941, in San Jose, Santa Clara County, California, to his parents, the late JC and Margaret Lorene (Cummins) Breedlove. He had overcome many health challenges in the last several years. With the help of the wonderful health care providers from the Veterans Administration, he was able to stay with his family this long. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Kathy; twin daughters, Tamara (Mark) Pew of Lehi, Utah, and Kimberly (Terrol) Lunt of Duncan; a son, Christopher (Tracy) Breedlove of Taylor, Arizona; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Stan (Sharon) Breedlove of Phoenix and Ted (Denise) Breedlove of Coolidge. He was predeceased by a son, Loren; two sisters, Patty and Terry; a brother, David; and his parents, JC Breedlove and Lorene Oxford. His greatest joy was his family. He was able to retire early, which allowed him and his wife to travel extensively. Because of his health they had to sell their travel trailer last year. He had a deep abiding love and faith in this Lord Jesus Christ. This belief sustains his family as they know Johnny is in his Savior’s care. Owens Livingston Mortuary-Heritage Chapel in Snowflake handled the arrangements.
