John Grant Willis III, 79, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2016, at home on his 40 acres outside of Snowflake, surrounded by his caring family. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Patsy Ann Willis. Together they had nine children, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. John was born Oct. 23, 1936, in Long Beach, Calif. He served in the United States Air Force. He then worked and retired from IBM. No public services are scheduled, per John’s wishes. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake was in charge of the arrangements.
