Holbrook High School will be sponsoring its Back to School Open House from 4 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 5. During this time, parents and guardians of HHS students will have an opportunity to interact with teachers from 4 to 6 p.m. and receive instruction on how to access student information on the district’s new Infinite Campus data system along with core curriculum, operational, and postsecondary education and career readiness details from 4 to 7 p.m. First mid-term progress reports will be forwarded at this event. Holbrook High School is also seeking volunteers to participate in its 2018-19 site council. The mission of the HHS site council is to provide advice regarding specified areas of the school’s programs and operations (primarily its curriculum). It is comprised of administrators, community members, parents or guardians of pupils enrolled at HHS, teachers, staff members and students. In essence, the purpose of the HHS site council is to act as a collaborative bridge between various stakeholders. All meetings are open to the public and are a matter of public record. If you have further questions pertaining to HHS’s Back to School Open House or site council, please feel free to contact Principal Lance Phaturos at (928) 524-2815.
