In conjunction with the Snowflake Heritage Foundation’s 12 Days of Christmas, the Spirit of Christmas will be celebrated on Frontier Drive this Christmas season, replacing the annual luminaries.
“Frontier Lights” will be turned on Dec. 1, with large snowflakes on the streetlights and pictures representing the true spirit of Christ throughout the drive, which will include a full life-size manger scene.
Families can adopt a “snowflake,” and businesses can sponsor a scripture or saying on a colorful picture. Organizers are also asking for donations of new white lights for the trees.
“Be a part of our success,” said Bev Kay, who is organizing the project, “and volunteer to help put up the snowflakes, lights and banners Thanksgiving weekend.”
All donations are tax deductible. Call Bev Kay at (928) 386-0340 for more information or to volunteer.
