Last month Dance Amour, a Dance Studio in Snowflake put on a beautiful performance of the Nutcracker Ballet. This performance was elegant and graceful, and it was clear that the youth involved put in a lot of practice to perfect this production, as it looked effortless.
Elizabeth Brinton, studio owner, spoke about the many hours that have been put into making this production a success. Rehearsals for the production started back in July for the leads and August for the rest of the cast, and the performers were eager to participate as these performances are put on every other year, and another performance like this won’t happen again until 2026.
All the performers were local talent, and some of the boys were even recruited from the local high school. This performance allowed the community to start off the holiday season beautifully and gave people of all ages a chance to see a performance of the classic holiday ballet.
