In observance of Child Passenger Safety Week, the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department and Taylor-Snowflake Fire Departments will host a Child Passenger Safety event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Snowflake Fire Station. Members of the community are invited to stop by to receive instruction on how to properly install child safety seats, check existing car seats for correct installation, and get information on current car seat recalls and Arizona’s child passenger safety laws. In addition to the Saturday event, there will be enhanced enforcement throughout this week in an effort to ensure the safety of young children traveling the roadways in the community.
