Charlene Rose “Sherry” Callister entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 28, 2016. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 6, at Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor. A graveside funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor. She was born June 13, 1950, to Charles I. Mang and Dorothy Elanore Drews in Buffalo, N.Y. She grew up in Lancaster, NY. She loved cosmetology and writing poems. Sherry married Kent Callister in Phoenix, where they lived until she retired and moved to Snowflake for her final years. Survivors include Blain Callister, Vickie Callister, Cole Callister, Caden Callister, Carson Callister, Crew Callister, Barb Wood and Dorothy Julio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Mang and Dorothy Mang; and her husband, Kent Callister.
