On Dec. 11, the Winslow Bulldogs traveled to Page to face the Sand Devils in a game that would not be decided until the final two minutes of the game and find the Bulldogs struggling from the line.
In the first quarter the game would find the Sand Devils with a four-point lead, outscoring the Bulldogs 11 to 7. In the second quarter the Sand Devils would double their lead, out-shooting the Bulldogs 13 to 9 for a halftime score of Page 24 and Winslow 16.
In the third quarter the Bulldogs would narrow the Sand Devils lead by outscoring them 17 to 15. In the final quarter with just three minutes remaining, the Bulldogs would tie the game but the Sand Devils would go on a 3-point shooting spree to win the game. Each team scored 20 points in the quarter, making the final score Page 61, Winslow 53.
Winslow had two players in double figures led by Tyron Puhufveya with 12 points. He also led the team in steals with five. Isaac David had 11 points.
