On Oct. 20, the Winslow Bulldogs traveled to Page to face the Sand Devils for their homecoming. The first quarter both teams would find it hard to get into the end zone. Early in the second quarter the Sand Devils would score on an 81-yard pass play, where quarterback Joseph Benally would connect with receiver Caleb Nix for the touchdown followed by the point after kick.
The Bulldogs would answer with quarterback Gino Quionoes connecting with Joseph Guerrero on a 76-yard touchdown pass play. Chance Lugo would kick the point after. Just before the end of the first half, the Sand Devils would score again, this time on 23-yard pass play caught by Connor Peterson, no point after for a halftime score of Page 13, Winslow 7.
In the fourth quarter, Sand Devil Tyree Stingley would intercept a Winslow pass and take it 90-yards for a touchdown followed by a 2-point conversion. Late in the quarter, Page would score again on a 15-yard pass run by Peterson, making the final score, Page 28 and Winslow 7.
Winslow had 239 yards passing and 167 yards rushing for a total of 306 yards.
At 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, the Bulldogs will play their final regular game of the season, hosting the Monument Valley Mustangs at Nassar Stadium in Winslow for Senior Night.
