Ashley Jenny Maestas Born in Show Low on March 19, 1984, she passed away at her home in Phoenix on June 18, 2021, at the age of 37. Rosary is to be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Holbrook. Reception to follow at the American Legion Post No. 37 in Holbrook. She is survived by her mother, Marlene Martinez Pacheco; her life partner, Joey Martinez; their children, Mercedes and Joey Jr., Alyssa; siblings, Mario, BJ (Colleen) and Jonie (Martin); nieces, Destiny Bell (Robbie), Brittany Bell and Emma Maestas; great-nieces, Aubrey and Adeline; nephew, Robbie and numerous loving cousins. Ashley is also survived by her fur babies Yogi and Isis. She is preceeded in death by her father, Ernest “Bunky” Maestas and her great niece Ava Arias. Our beloved Ashley struggled with her health and in the past year decided it was not going to hold her back anymore, she started to do some traveling with three different trips with her mom, sister and nieces, and was packed for her next adventure to Costa Rica. Her best friends were her cousins whom she dearly loved and kept in touch with all of them. Our hearts are broken we will miss her so. “Fly with the angels, you were loved by all.”
