John was born Dec. 11, 1958, in Holbrook to the late Clarance and Louisa Romero. John lived most of his life in Snowflake. He was an employee for the Town of Taylor and took pride in serving the community of Taylor. One of his most recent endeavors was to plant Christmas trees in the newest section of the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery. His wife Stephanie was given the honor to select which tree to be buried by in this newest section. John was a family man and family meant the world to him. The most important thing to him was spending time with his granddaughter Alexis “Poopie”, teaching her life lessons, putting smiles on both of their faces. John enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, hunting, hiking and just being part of nature. John is survived by his wife, Stephanie of 10 years; stepson, Mike Mohoff; stepdaughter Laurie Mohoff; granddaughter, Alexis Mohoff; brother, Clarance Romero Jr.; and sister Erlinda Romero. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Owens Livingston Mortuary Heritage Chapel of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
