Photo by Kathleen SmithThe City of Holbrook is wrapping up the Eighth Avenue project. According to Interim City Manager Randy Sullivan, the drainage is complete and this week the work includes back-filling and prepping for curb, gutter and sidewalk. Next week they hope to be able to patch the road and open it to traffic. The road will remain partially blocked while a retaining wall is being built. Working on the project are city employees Daniel Gabaldon (in backhoe), and (left to right) David Watson, Shawn Cassidy and Shinea Tsinne.
