Collaboration is key to community development and the opinions of youth are a priority for Holbrook’s Mayor Kathleen Smith. Smith, along with Linda Kor and Talaina Kor of Grow Arizona Workforce Network visited Holbrook Junior High School in order to learn the priorities for these students when it comes to community development. The idea to do so came from Mayor Smith visiting with Rylie Patterson (second from left) who had written a letter to Smith months ago outlining her concerns and solutions.
