Due to a large number of infected wrestlers across the state, Arizona Interscholastic Association officials have postponed all sectional wrestling tournaments until further notice. As of Sunday, the exact date on which the sectional will begin had yet to be determined. Several wrestlers with skin infections have been identified and the AIA wants to attempt to clear up the infections as much as possible before resuming the wrestling season. The state wrestling tournament is scheduled for this weekend in Prescott, but that may have to be postponed as well.
