Winslow Track Teams Compete In Flagstaff, Round Valley And Sedona

Show Low won the girls’ division of the meet with 78 points, followed by Coconino with 50 and Blue Ridge with 43.

Sedona Red Rock won the boys’ title with 46 points, followed by Blue Ridge with 39 and Round Valley with 38.

For Winslow in the 200 meter dash, Alicia Chen was 11th with a time of 28.8; and Shannon Villarino, 17th in 29.39.

In the 400 meter dash, Alicia Chen was fifth with a time of 1:03.82; Courtney Hatch tied for 11th in 1:06.56; and Lilly Magnus, 40th in 1:15.85.

In the 800 meter run, Alyssa Begaye was 19th with a time of 2:46.44; Sirena Begaye, 21st in 2:46.67; and Kaylynn Lyons, 44th in 3:09.77.

In the 1600 meter run, Mikenzie Alcott was 21st with a time of 6:22.85; Jasmine Barton, 37th in 6:53.30; and Miranda Neboyla, 6:59.06.

In the 3200 meter run, Jami Brady was 20th with a time of 14:32.34; Alexis Yellowhair, 25th in 14:43.57; and Taycee Johnson, 14:52.34.

In the 4×400 meter relay, the Lady Bulldogs were 12th with a time of 4:47.54.

In the pole vault, Jordan Sawyer tied for sixth place, clearing 6’0”.

In the shot put, Shandiin Armao was third with a toss of 33’10”.

In the boys’ 200 meter dash, Reed Hatch was 34th with a time of 26.3; Sheldon Smith, 37th in 26.47; and Cody Taha, 51st in 27.63.

In the 400 meter dash, Sheldon Smith was 22nd with a time of 58.77; and Reed Hatch, 42nd in 1:01.85.

In the 800 meter run, Gabriel Jensen was 14th in 2:13.30; Keoan Wesley, 54th in 2:42.78; and Tyler McCabe, 55th in 2:47.55.

In the 1600 meter run, Juwan Denny was 53rd in 5:44.07; and Landon Hendricks, 55th in 5:44.95.

In the 3200 meter run, Boyd Chatwin was 17th in 11:16.14; Travis Lee, 29th in 11:46.40; and Clinton McCabe, 55th in 13:22.40.

In the 4×400 meter relay, the Bulldogs were 18th with a time of 4:04.09.

In the high jump, Mikel Bonner was 11th with a leap of 5’4”.

The Lady Bulldogs earned fifth place among 20 teams at the Round Valley Invitational on March 13 in Eagar, while the Bulldogs were 11th in a field of 18.

Show Low won the girls’ meet with 174 points, followed by Snowflake with 90 and Blue Ridge with 80. Winslow scored 35 points.

The boys’ title went to Snowflake, which lead the field with 151 points. Round Valley was second with 96 and Blue Ridge was third with 77. Winslow scored 12 points.

For Winslow in the 100 meter dash, Alicia Chen was fourth with a time of 13.43.

In the 200 meter dash, Alicia Chen was fourth with a time of 28.97; Tomiko Clough, sixth in 29.68; and Shannon Villarino, 13th in 30.74.

In the 400 meter dash, Alicia Chen was fifth with a time of 1:06.72; and Lilly Mangus, 18th in 1:13.78.

In the 800 meter run, Alyssa Begaye was ninth with a time of 2:52.19; Kaylynn Lyons, 13th in 2:53.36; Miranda Neboyia, 20th in 3:01.22; and Kristen Taptto, 31st in 3:32.63.

In the 1600 meter run, Minkenzie Alcott was 13th with a time of 6:31.98; Jami Brady, 17th in 6:38.13; and Adrianna Taptto, 24th in 7:25.47.

In the 3200 meter run, Jami Brady was eighth with a time of 14:32.52; Taycee Johnson, 14th in 15:17.03; and D’nani Begay, 20th in 16:03.70.

In the 4×800 meter relay, the Lady Bulldogs were sixth with a time of 12:50.21.

In the long jump, Hannah Mangus was 25th, covering 10’3”.

In the high jump, Hannah Mangus tied for 16th place, clearing 4’0”.

In the pole vault, Janell Decker tied for eighth place with a height of 5’0”.

In the shot put, Shandiin Armao was second with a throw of 31’5”; Kaelyn Bitsoi, fifth with 29’10”; Mykyla Keams, 32nd with 20’6”; and Stephanie Thompson, 34th with 20’3”.

In the discus, Kaelyn Bitsoi was sixth with a throw of 80’2”; Mykyla Keams, 22nd with 54’8”; and Stephanie Thompson, 25th with 54’0”.

In the boys’ 200 meter dash, Judicael Tombo was 18th with a time of 26.51; Zachary Pollard, 25th in 27.34; Cody Taha, 31st in 28.17; and Reed Hatch, 45th in 30.09.

In the 400 meter dash, Reed Hatch was 21st with a time of 1:02.05; and Ernesto Martinez, 22nd in 1:02.16.

In the 800 meter run, Ernesto Martinez was fourth with a time of 2:15.19; Gabriel Jensen, fifth in 2:18.64; Keoan Wesley, 27th in 2:34.04; and Clinton McCabe, 46th in 2:58.79.

In the 1600 meter run, Boyd Chatwin was 21st with a time of 5:32.63; Juwan Denny, 26th in 5:37.92; Lendon Hendricks, 36th in 5:52.98; and Clinton McCabe, 47th in 6:52.82.

In the 3200 meter run, Travis Lee was 24th with a time of 12:54.91; Landon Hendricks, 25th in 13:05.41; and Tyler McCabe, 28th in 13:25.07.

The Bulldogs were 10th in the 4×400 meter relay with a time of 4:06.56, and also earned 10th in the 4×800 meter relay, posting a time of 9:41.52.

In the long jump, Zachary Pollard was 25th with a jump of 14’7”; and Nicholas Rither, 29th with 14’2.75”.

In the high jump, Mikel Bonner was 15th, clearing 5’4”; and Zachary Pollard, 21st with 5’0”.

In the pole vault, Mikel Bonner, Seth Jennings and Nicholas Rither tied for 12th place, clearing 7’0”.

In the shot put, Trey Hardy was seventh with a toss of 36’9”; Tyler Lil’Bilnaghahi, 12th with 34’4”; Nicholas Aberle, 15th with 33’6.25”; and Gary Taha, 21st with 31’8”.

In the discus, Trey Hardy was ninth with a throw of 92’11”; Chad Sullivan, 17th with 78’3”; Tyler Lil’Bilnaghahi, 22nd with 75’6”; and Nicholas Aberle, 26th with 71’11”.

The Lady Bulldogs were fourth in a field of eight teams at the Sedona Friendship Invitational held March 18 at Sedona Red Rock High School. The Winslow boys placed sixth among nine teams.

Red Rock won the girls’ meet with 229 points, followed by Mingus with 151, Payson with 150 and Winslow with 133.

The boys’ title also went to the host squad, which posted 219 points. Mingus was second with 188 and Payson was third with 166. Winslow scored 100 points.

For Winslow in the 100 meter dash, Alicia Chen was third with a time of 13.76; Shannon Villarino, sixth in 14.04; Tomiko Clough, 10th in 14.30; and Kendra Calavasa, 37th in 17.35.

In the 200 meter dash, Alicia Chen was second with a time of 28.22; Tomiko Clough, seventh in 29.52; and Kendra Calavasa, 31st in 34.91.

In the 400 meter dash, Alicia Chen was second with a time of 1:03.52; and Shannon Villarino, fourth in 1:09.16.

In the 800 meter run, Alyssa Begaye was ninth with a time of 2:56.18; Alexis Yellowhair, 11th in 3:00.46; Adrianna Taptto and Taycee Johnson tied for 12th in 3:03.05; Jasmine Barton, 15th in 3:06.32; and Kristen Taptto, 20th in 3:35.31.

In the 1600 meter run, Dawn Chatter was ninth in 6:33.99; Alyssa Begaye, 11th in 6:43.38; Jasmine Barton, 12th in 6:44.45; Taycee Johnson, 13th in 6:46.97; Alexis Yellowhair, 14th in 6:48.52; Adrianna Taptto, 15th in 6:49.00; and Kristen Taptto, 25th in 7:43.13.

In the 3200 meter run, Jami Brady was first with a time of 13:33.03.

In the 100 meter hurdles, Dominique Tsosie was third with a time of 19.21.

In the 300 meter hurdles, Dominique Tsosie was fifth with a time of 59.00.

The Lady Bulldogs were third in the 4×100 meter relay with a time of 55.16, fourth in the 4×400 meter relay in 4:43.72 and second in the 4×800 meter relay in 11:38.18.

In the shot put, Kaelyn Bitsoi was third with a toss of 31’1”; and Mykyla Keams, 15th with 21’0”.

In the discus, Kaelyn Bitsoi was sixth with a throw of 76’3”; and Mykyla Keams, 13th with 57’6”.

In the boys’ 100 meter dash, Mikel Bonner was 11th with a time of 12.61; Noah Upchurch, 19th in 13.07; Tyler Richards, 27th in 13.64; and Nicholas Rither, 30th in 14.03.

In the 200 meter dash, Austyn Mattox was first with a time of 24.3; Zachary Pollard, 16th in 26.3; and Tyler Richards, 30th in 27.69.

In the 400 meter dash, Austyn Mattox was first with a time of 54.63.

In the 800 meter run, Gabriel Jensen was fifth with a time of 2:14.2; and Boyd Chatwin, ninth in 2:21.38.

In the 1600 meter run, Gabriel Jensen was 10th in 5:12.14; Boyd Chatwin, 11th in 5:16.61; Juwan Denny, 20th in 5:31.42; and Travis Lee, 29th in 5:56.97.

In the 3200 meter run, Gabriel Jensen was sixth with a time of 11:39.77; Juwan Denny, eighth in 12:10.42; and Travis Lee, 11th in 12:26.51.

The Bulldogs were sixth in the 4×100 meter relay with a time of 50.22, fourth in the 4×400 meter relay in 3:50.23 and fourth in the 4×800 meter relay in 9:35.62.

In the long jump, Austyn Mattox was second, covering 18’7.5”; Noah Upchurch, 13th with 15’8”; Nicholas Rither, 20th with 14’5”; and Tyler Richards, 25th with 13’7.5”.

In the pole vault, Mikel Bonner tied for third with a height of 9’0”; and Nicholas Rither, sixth with 6’6”.

In the shot put, Nicholas Aberle tied for fourth with a toss of 35’9”.

In the discus, Nicholas Aberle was 16th with a throw of 80’3”.

Also on the boys’ team are Cordell McCabe, Hunter Sullens, Ignacio Nez, Jordan Bitsoi, Kordell McReeves, Marlin Nelson and Robert Rockwell.
