Both Winslow track teams placed eighth out of 24 teams at the Round Valley Invitational meet held on Friday. Snowflake won both sections of the meet followed by Show Low in second place in both the boys and girls. Blue Ridge was third for the boys and Ganado finished third for the girls.
Individually in the boys 100 meter dash, Mikel Bonner placed 12th with a time of 11.93; James Bordner was 19th; and Noah Upchurch, 20th.
In the 200 meter dash, Jason Sandoval placed sixth with a time of 25.03; and James Bordner was 14th.
In the 800 meter run, Landon Hendricks placed 21st with a time of 2:23.80; Landon Shorty was 30th; Junior Lee, 48th; and Tristan Long, 49th.
In the 1600 meter run, Bryant Navasie was 14th in 5:15.55; Landon Hendricks was 18th; Landon Shorty, 22nd; and Keoan Wesley, 56th.
In the 3200 meter run, Bryant Navasie placed eighth with a time of 11:26.70; and Tristan Long was 22nd.
Jason Sandoval, Aaron Davis, Noah Upchurch and Mikel Bonner placed seventh in the 4×400 meter relay with a time of 3:52.65.
In the shot put, Ahli Foster was second with a toss of 43-10; Leeander Keems was fourth; Melcom Yazzie, 19th; and Seth Hernandez was 28th.
In the discus, Melcom Yazzie was fifth with a throw of 108-10; Leeander Keems was eighth; and Seth Hernandez, 17th.
In the pole vault, Mikel Bonner placed fourth getting up and over 12-00; Jacob Berg was 12th; and Jason Sandoval, 15th.
In the girls 100 meter dash, Rory Lassiter was 23rd with a time of 14.79; Jazmyne Lopez was 48th; and Alyssa Cordova was 66th.
In the 200 meter dash, Courtney Hatch placed second with a time of 27.77; Lacey Garrett was fifth; Jazmyne Lopez, 38th; and Alyssa Cordova, 59th.
In the 400 meter dash, Ariana Quinones was 20th with a time of 1:16.34; and Allana Allen placed 34th.
In the 800 meter run, Ariana Quinones was 20th with a time of 2:58.34; Eushawna Nodestine was 23rd; Autumn Qumawunu, 28th; and Mia Quinones, 31st.
In the 1600 meter run, Cara Harrison was seventh with a time of 6:00.92; Mia Quinones, ninth; and Garilynn Lee was 51st.
In the 3200 meter run, Tyana Begay was ninth in 13:48.10, and Cara Harrison was 25th.
In the 100 meter hurdles, Caitlyn Turner was seventh in 19.17; Alyssa Howeth was 9th; and Darianna Lopez, 11th.
Caitlyn Turner, Rory Lassiter, Lacey Garrett and Courtney Hatch finished fifth in the 4×400 meter relay with a time of 4:41.45.
In the 4×800 meter relay, Ariana Quinones, Autumn, Eushawna Nodestine and Tyana Begay placed 12th with a time of 12:03.74.
In the shot put, Madison Zamora was 22nd with a toss of 24-01; Donae Kee was 25th; Jadiana Sedillo, 36th; and Mackenzie Sauceda was 40th.
In the discus, Madison Zamora finished 30th with a throw of 58-08; Donae Kee was 39th; Chloe Jarrin, 43rd; and Aiyanna Amich was 44th.
In the high jump event Caitlyn Turner placed third with a jump of 4-10.
In the long jump, Alyssa Howeth was 20th with a distance of 13-03.75; and Darian Lopez placed 43rd.
In the triple jump, Jadiana Sedillo placed 14th with a jump of 27-00.5.
