The Winslow High School cross country teams will start their season at home with the Dave Conatser Invitational Meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29. The teams will be coached by Terri Little, who also led them last season.
The team’s second meet will be the Hopi Invitational at Polacca at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Next up will be the Peaks Invitational at Flagstaff on Saturday, Sept. 5. This and all the rest of the meets scheduled have starting times to be announced later.
The Wildcat Invitational at Chinle High School is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12.
The Four Corners Invitational in Flagstaff will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The Shane Morris Invitational will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Blue Ridge High School in Lakeside.
On Friday, Oct. 2, the teams will journey to Casa Grande to participate in the Desert Twilight Invitational.
On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Winslow teams will be in Tuba City for the Bud Davis Invitational.
On Saturday, Oct. 17, they will go to Snowflake for the Snowflake Invitational.
The Holbrook Invitational will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, at Hidden Cove Golf Course.
The sectional finals will be held on Oct. 30 or 31 at a place to be determined. The state finals will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, in Cave Creek.
