On Sunday, six gardeners with the greenest thumbs around Winslow opened their doors and hosted a garden tour so other local growers can see and discuss what it takes to run a successful garden in the high desert. Three-year-old Aidan Boring is the farm manager for Not-So-Boring Farm and is seen here, with assistance from his farm hand/mom Belinda Boring, showing people on the garden tour their pumpkin patch. Not-So-Boring Farm is one of the growers in the Mother Roads Farmers Market who received supplies and support to make their farm more successful and add to the fresh produce at the market. Now they are one of the market’s most reliable growers.
