By Greg Perkins It took the Wildcats four tries but they picked up their first win of the season on Friday night with a 52-30 road win at Desert Heights Prep. Two of Joseph City’s first three losses were within two scores, with just their week two 30-6 loss to Lincoln Prep being the only game they haven’t really been in through the first month of the season. Friday’s win moves them to 1-3 on the season and sets up a tough match up with El Capitan this Friday. The Eagles are 3-0 on the season and have dominated their first three opponents including last week’s 52-8 win over Fredonia. The game will be played in Joseph City with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
